What to check before choosing a free VPN
A free VPN can be a fine way to start, but you’re routing traffic through it. Check the publisher, funding, privacy label, permissions and trial terms first.

How to set up VVPN on iPhone
- Get the official app. Open VVPN on the App Store. Check the listing’s compatibility section for your iPhone and iOS version.
- Open VVPN. Read the initial prompts and plan information, then choose an available server in the app.
- Start connecting. If iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, review the request. Allow it and authenticate as requested if you want to use VVPN.
- Wait for the connection status. Return to VVPN and wait for Connected before checking your browser.
- Check the public address. Visit the IP checker in the browser you use. Compare the address with an earlier disconnected check if available.
Permission wording and screens can change between iOS and app versions. The operating system’s VPN approval gives the app permission to set up its connection; it is not a guarantee about every website or app.
VPN and private browsing on iPhone
A private browser window and a VPN are different tools. Private browsing manages aspects of a browser session; VVPN routes covered traffic through a VPN server. Signing into a website still identifies your account to that website.
If you use another privacy or network service, compare results in the same browser and on the same network. The address a website sees can reflect more than one part of your connection.
If VVPN is connected but a page will not load
- Try a different ordinary website to check whether the problem is limited to one destination.
- Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. A public Wi-Fi network may require a sign-in before the VPN can connect.
- Try another available server and confirm that VVPN reconnects.
- Check for an app update in the App Store. On a work- or school-managed phone, ask the administrator before changing managed network settings.
If the problem continues, contact support@vvpn.pro. Include your iOS version, VVPN version and the connection status you saw. Keep passwords and payment details out of diagnostic messages.
Plans and subscriptions
Use the app and the App Store purchase screen to check current prices, renewal terms and available access. Free download availability does not mean unlimited access to every server. Existing App Store subscriptions can be managed through your Apple account.
